Charles Leibold

Charles Edward Leibold, 49 of Independence, MO passed away, June 9, 2007 at his residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Charles was born October 8, 1957 in Independence, MO to Russell and Lorraine (McInnes) Leibold. He was a lifelong Independence resident attending public schools and graduating from Truman High School in 1975. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, camping, baseball, music and was a champion swimmer in high school. He had worked as a welder at Precise Forms for over 15 years. He is survived by; a daughter, Cortney Leibold of Independence, MO; his mother, Lorraine Leibold of Independence, MO; a sister, Julie Drummond and her husband, Ronnie of Independence, MO and a brother, Stephen Leibold and his wife Victoria of Crystal Lake, MO.
